Krishna specialises in surgery for cancers of the oesophagus and stomach. Benign Foregut Surgery

Krishna specialises in surgery for all benign conditions of the oesophagus and stomach. Common conditions such as gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and achalasia cardia are managed with laparoscopic surgery. Though there are comparable non-surgical management options for such conditions, surgery, when performed well, is superior in terms of long-term outcomes. Revisional Surgery

There are a number of patients who have undergone bariatric surgery and surgery for benign diseases who suffer with the long term complications of these procedures, such as acid reflux, swallowing problems, chronic pain and weight regain. Patients who have undergone previous surgery for gastro-oesophageal reflux may also experience persistent swallowing problems and recurrent reflux symptoms. Abdominal Wall Hernia

Krishna is the lead surgeon for the British Hernia Centre. He has performed thousands of hernia operations varying from open tension free mesh repairs for inguinal hernias to lateral component separation techniques for multi-recurrent incisional hernias. He also performs laparoscopic surgery for incisional and hiatus hernias, including 'giant' ones.
